Bloomfield Senior
Kiara Robertson moves unto
Division 1 at
George Washington University

Soccer has been a major part of my life for the past eleven years. The sport has opened doors for me, enabling me to meet some amazing coaches and teammates; to travel across the state, region, and country; and to receive an education from George Washington University. But most importantly, soccer has endowed me with some of my greatest memories. I’ll never forget my first victory for the U-10 Bloomfield Lady Jaguars. The 3-2 win came after ten consecutive defeats, so you can imagine the absolute happiness I felt after the final whistle blew.

By just kicking the ball around by yourself or with friends, attending team practices and watching the professionals play you can become the player you want to be. Also, be sure to study in school as this will make a difference for your opportunities down the road. But, most importantly, remember to just have fun! Kiara
